1. What should I book in advance for London?

It’s not the restaurants or the theater tickets.

Once your flight and hotel are secure, Eurostar tickets should be next on your priority list. Don’t wait for that. The Eurostar is currently the most efficient way to get to the continent. So, if you are planning to continue your travels in Europe, this is your preferred method.

If you’re planning a multi-city European trip, be aware that train travel within Britain and to France, Belgium and the Netherlands is not cheap. The difference between a three-month and three-week booking can be hundreds of euros. If you wait until the last minute, the price will be ridiculously high.
